RAGEthe marketplace for artists

WELCOME TO

THE RAGE

You're not testing an app. You're founding a scene.

All the Rage is the marketplace for artists — every craft, every medium. Show your work, sell it protected, get hired, collaborate, and collect direct. And right now, it's yours before it's anyone's.

Hey — thank you for being here.

You're one of a handful of people I've personally invited in before the world gets this. That's not a small thing: the first artists on a platform set its culture forever. The work you post, the way you collaborate, the standards you hold — that becomes the DNA every later artist inherits.

So break things. Be loud about what's confusing. Post real work. And know that everything you build here now — your gallery, your ratings, your collaborations, your backers — is the head start nobody after you gets.

— let's make some noise 🤘

Getting started

Five minutes, start to first post.

📲 Step zero: get the app on your phone.

Pick your phone and follow the steps — install it before you read on; this tour is better with the app in your other hand.

🍎 iPhone & iPad — TestFlight

  1. Install TestFlight (free, by Apple) from the App Store.
  2. On your iPhone, tap the install link: testflight.apple.com/join/PSQsGZys
  3. Tap Accept, then Install All the Rage.
  4. Open it from your home screen and sign in. New builds arrive in TestFlight — just tap Update.

📲 Install on iPhone

🤖 Android — Google Play

  1. On your Android phone, sign into the Google account on your invite, then open All the Rage on Google Play.
  2. Tap Install (if you see "Join the beta" first, tap that, then Install).
  3. Open it and sign in. Updates come automatically through Play.

▶ Install on Android

No link, or did it expire? Email support@rage.exchange — we'll send a fresh one same-day.

  1. Sign up with email, Google, or Apple. No email confirmation needed during the beta.
  2. Pick your roles. Visionary (you make things), Collector (you buy things), Sponsor (you're a brand) — pick all that apply, and switch anytime from the ☰ menu ("Viewing as"). Each role reshapes the whole app.
  3. Pick your crafts. Painting, makeup FX, nails, film, music, fashion, tattoo… your picks tune your feed and match you to work.
  4. Set your city. It powers Near-you discovery and real distance-based gig matching.
  5. Post one real piece. Seriously — the feed is better with your work in it, and it takes two minutes from the Create tab.

🌱 Heads up: some of what you'll see is placeholder.

The feed, drops, auctions, and gigs are pre-populated with demo content so you have things to buy, bid on, and apply to from minute one. It's scaffolding, not real artists' work — and it gets retired as founding artists (you) fill the feed with the real thing. If a piece looks suspiciously stock, it probably is. Replace it with something better.

02

Testing & money

Read this one before anything else.

💳 No real money moves during the beta.

Payments run on Stripe's test mode. Buy, bid, tip, back projects, book artists — go wild. When anything asks for a card, use the magic test card:

4242 4242 4242 4242

Any future expiry · any CVC · any postal code. It always works, and it never charges anyone.

Payout setup (Stripe Connect) is also in test mode — walk the whole "connect a bank" flow with test data and watch escrow release.

🎯 The tester checklist (it remembers — come back anytime)

🏆 FULL SWEEP. You're officially foundational. Email us "All The Rage" for eternal glory.

03

Create & sell

Every medium, protected money, royalties forever.

🖼️ Post any kind of work

The Create tab is type-first: Physical art (paintings, sculpture — shipped to collectors), Music (singles, albums, music videos, licensing tiers), Film / Video (with rent/buy gating and trailers), Fashion (one-offs, made-to-order, vintage). Each type gets its own flow — framing presets, album track lists, film credits, garment details.

🔒 Sell it protected — escrow on everything

Fixed price, timed auctions, or price-on-request. When someone buys, their money sits in escrow until they confirm delivery — then it releases to you. No "I shipped it and they ghosted." Offers (cash or trades) ride the same rails.

📜 Certificates of Authenticity & resale royalties

Mint a tamper-proof certificate for any piece — it proves the original, tracks ownership history, and pays you a royalty (5–20%, your choice) every time it resells, forever. NFC tap-to-verify tags are coming for physical pieces.

⚡ Drops, prints, lessons & passes

Drops: limited timed editions with a claim window. Prints: sell reproductions through the print network. Lessons: sell tutorials and live classes. Creator Pass: your inner circle — perks, early drop access, member pricing.

💅 Your profile is a storefront

Gallery, shop, live schedule, bio — plus "In my kit" (the products you swear by; fans always ask) and Book Me for artists who work on people: makeup, hair, lashes, nails, barbering, tattoo. Set your services (price + how long each takes), post your open times, and clients book a real date & time — a deposit holds the slot, escrowed and protected.

04

Buy, bid & collect

Artist-direct, escrow-protected, and the price is the price.

🏷️ You never pay a buyer's fee

The price you see is the price you pay. No buyer's premium, no service fee, no "+15% at checkout." The platform's cut comes out of the artist's side, never bolted onto yours. You only ever add shipping when a physical piece needs to travel.

🤝 Collect direct & protected

Every purchase goes artist-direct — no gallery middleman, no markup. Your money sits in escrow and only releases to the artist when you confirm the piece arrived. If it never shows, there's a real dispute process behind you.

🔨 Auctions, offers & trades

Bid on timed auctions (you'll get outbid notifications — fight back), make cash offers on anything, or propose a straight trade: your piece for theirs. Watchlist anything you're stalking and get pinged on price moves.

🏛️ Your collection is a flex

The Collect tab tracks everything you own — certified pieces with full provenance, plus items you collected off-platform and catalog yourself. Highlight favorites, build Crates (public or private curated sets), and earn a tier as you go — Collector → Avid Collector → Patron. Tap-to-verify NFC on physical work is on the way.

💜 Back the artists you love

Beyond buying: tip an artist (100% to them — tips are always fee-free), back a project to fund the next body of work, commission something custom (escrowed up front), or resell a piece you own with its provenance intact. Being early here means the artists remember who showed up first.

05

Projects & collabs

Assemble a crew, agree the split, ship together.

🎬 Start a project — any medium

A short film, an album, a capsule collection, a mural. The wizard walks you through: cover + pitch, the crew you need (any role — type your own), and how collaborators are rewarded (revenue split / paid / credit — stated up front, because "is this paid?" should never need a DM).

🔥 Announce it & build hype

Flip "Announce it" and your project goes public as a coming-soon: countdown, sneak peeks, updates, polls — fans follow the journey, and the milestone tracker (Concept → … → Shown) moves as you do.

📑 The deal: splits that follow the work

Agree the revenue split with your crew inside the project room. When you wrap and attach the finished piece, the split applies to its sales automatically. Board-room video meetings and crew chat included.

🚀 Fund it

Crowdfund any project: goal, deadline, reward tiers. Pledges are real (test-mode) charges; you cash out at the goal or deadline. Backers get notified when you post updates and when it funds — keep them close, they're your day-one fans.

06

Work — gigs & hiring

One feed of every gig. Real pay, real distance, real history.

🧲 Find work: one feed, every gig

The Work hub pulls every open gig on the platform into one feed: casting calls, project crew calls, brand briefs — and not just film. A DJ for a rooftop bar, a muralist for a café, a nail artist for a pop-up. Each card is a real job post — pay stated, location, deadline, one-tap apply. Filter by craft, kind, or true km-radius Near me.

🔔 Gig alerts — the app hunts while you create

Save a search ("paid makeup gigs in Vancouver") and get pinged the moment matching work posts. Flip on Available for work with your status line ("Booked until July · taking bridal") to show up in searches and get auto-matched to crew calls.

📎 Applications that show, not tell

Apply with a note, a reel link, a self-tape if asked — and attach up to 3 of your actual pieces. Reviewers see your work right on the application.

🏢 Hiring: people AND studios

Flip to Hire mode: search talent across every craft, shortlist candidates, run a casting pipeline (submitted → shortlisted → cast), or hire a whole studio — production houses, fashion houses, agencies. Every hire path lands on escrow. Look for the ✓ gigs completed badge — verified work history earned on the platform, impossible to fake.

07

Live

Your stage, your rules — and yes, you can sell from it.

📡 Go live, any format

Music jams, art demos, critique circles, film panels, table reads, runway shows, beauty demos (makeup/hair/nails start-to-finish), classes, AMAs, co-working. Public, unlisted (share the link), or private (you approve who's in).

🎤 Pass the mic

Everyone watches by default. Any viewer can raise a hand; the host gives the mic — and takes it back. Your stage, your rules.

🛍️ Trunk shows — sell live

QVC for art: queue up lots, run live bidding while you stream, sell in the moment. Sessions can leave a recap gallery of what was made.

⚔️ Live showdowns — battle on stage

A challenge can go down live: a fashion walk-off, a rap battle, a beat battle, a paint-off. Contestants line up, the host runs the turns with a timer, and the crowd votes in real time — the winner is crowned in the room. Watch in Challenges for how to start one.

08

Community & competition

Rooms for your craft, challenges with real stakes, and any city's scene on demand.

👥 Groups — rooms that feel alive

Join or start communities — city scenes, craft guilds, your own crew. Threaded chat with photos, reactions and replies (delete your own, report the rest), pin your favorites, and get "Rooms for your craft" suggestions matched to what you make. Every new member auto-joins RAGE HQ — the founding-crew room — on day one.

🏆 Challenges — any prize, any medium

Anyone can start a challenge; the community votes the winner (no curation, no pay-to-win). Run them as an entries board or a live showdown, in any medium — art, music, film, fashion. Prizes are whatever's worth winning: cash (escrow-guaranteed), products, coupons, studio time, classes, scholarships, trips, mentorship, a feature. Non-cash prizes carry a public delivery record, so promises get kept.

📣 Call out your rivals

Challenge a fellow artist by name — they get a callout on the challenge and a DM. Entry stays open to everyone, but the rivalry is the fun. Great for "my school vs yours" energy.

🥇 Tournaments & festivals

String challenges into a circuit declared up front — a tournament bracket (qualifiers → semis → final) or a mini film festival (submissions → screening night → awards). Top finishers advance each round; the bracket shows the whole road.

👑 All the Rage of the month

The leaderboard crowns the most-raged creator each month, then resets — so the title is always up for grabs and newcomers have a real shot. Past winners live in the hall of fame.

🔑 Studio space rentals

List a workspace or find one near you — a kiln share, a vocal booth, a daylight photo studio, a workshop bench. Photo galleries, amenities, rate by the hour/day/month; message the host to book. Save the ones you like for later.

📅 Events & meetups

Run real-world events with RSVPs and city search — studio visits, gallery nights, shows. Find people, browse the leaderboard, manage group invites, all from the Community drawer.

✈️ Near you — and anywhere

The Near-you tab shows your city's creators, art, events, and print shops. Traveling? Tap the city name and explore any scene — scope Berlin's artists and events before you land, without changing your home city.

09

Fees

Simple deal: you keep ~95%, and money never buys reach.

No listing fees, no required subscriptions, no paywalls on your reach. We only earn when you do.

10

For brands & sponsors

Work WITH artists, not around them — and never buy your way over them.

🎯 Five ways to work with creators

Switch to the Sponsor role and the Create menu becomes a brand toolkit:

  • Back a creator — sponsor a specific post or a product on their "In my kit" shelf. Escrowed, always labeled "Sponsored," and it never touches organic rank.
  • Brand deal — an ongoing partnership on your terms (fee, deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity); the creator accepts or counters.
  • Post a brief — an open paid call delivered to the right crafts; artists apply with their actual work and their rate.
  • Run a challenge — put up a prize (cash or product), the community competes and votes, the winner is paid from escrow. Great for campaigns and launches.
  • Hire a crew — commission film, music, art or fashion to make your campaign, escrow-protected.
🏬 Your storefront & products

Sponsors get a real brand storefront — not a creator page. List products with a custom banner, sell on-platform, or link out to your site. Your products can also become challenge prizes creators actually want to win.

📊 Ad cards — pay per click, never for rank

Labeled AD cards in the feed, billed per qualified click from a prepaid budget (broad or craft-targeted). Watch views/clicks/CTR live, pause anytime, and unspent budget refunds. Organic ranking is untouchable — that's a promise to artists that protects your credibility too.

💸 What it costs a brand

Clear and up front: 10% on a sponsored post or kit placement (escrowed, released when it's done) · a brand challenge is your prize + a flat 5% · ad cards are pay-per-click from your prepaid budget · posting a brief is free (it's a job board) · storefront sales on-platform are 5%. No retainer, no lock-in.

11

Feedback — how to actually help

Confusion is data. Rants are welcome. Screenshots are gold.

Where to send it: email support@rage.exchange — bugs, ideas, rants, love letters. For content issues inside the app, the ⋯ menu on any piece, profile, or message has Report built in.

12

Why sharing grows YOU

The honest math of being early — and how to bring your people in.

📈 Early followers compound

Every person you bring in lands on a feed where your work already lives. You're not competing with a million accounts — you're one of the founders of the wall. Follows, rages, and collectors you earn now are the foundation everyone else has to build toward later.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Your network becomes your crew

Invite the photographer you always wanted to shoot with, the MUA you trade favors with, the friend who buys your prints. Projects, bookings, splits, trades — every feature here gets better when your actual people are on it. You're not sharing an app; you're moving your scene somewhere it can earn.

🏅 Reputation starts at zero — for everyone after you

Ratings, gigs-completed badges, certified provenance, backer counts — these only accrue on the platform, and you have a head start measured in months. The artists who treat the beta like opening night will look like institutions by the time the doors open.

Share any piece, profile, or project from the app — every share link opens a real page that pulls people in. That's the loop: your work travels, your scene grows, your numbers compound.

📬 Bring your people

Know an artist, collector, or brand who belongs here? Two ways in:

The tour is this page; the waitlist is where they save a spot. Or skip the link-tag and sign them up right here:

Names you vouch for jump the line — founding artists pick the next founding artists.
